Hey Guys the clock is ticking and 2009 is almost over. This the 4th and final edition of 2009: My Year In Photos Recap. This was my first full year of taking photos and hopefully you’ve enjoyed my work and adventure in this.
Two Words: Aretha’s Hat. lol. This was a very great day for people around the world and the people in Harlem. Barack Obama’s Inauguration on 125th street in Harlem NYC, My birthplace. For the hundreds of people who didnt make it to DC, the State Building was the place to be to witness history. A very frigid day didnt stop me, Katrina and more of my friends to go out and see this go down.

This was my first commercial photo shoot. it was for a hair line whose new store recently opened in Soho. Although it went terribly over schedule, I learned a lot that day. I know there will be more to come next year.

This shot I caught of Rihanna was at M2 Lounge in Chelsea at the BMI Awards after-party. I think I had the only photo of her that day as her bodyguard kept blinding my camera with his flashlight. lol A night of a lot of celebs and a lot of love shown to the kid. Thanks

On another walk through Union Square a homeless man takes a midday nap on the sidewalk while holding on to a baloon which was being given out that day. I love this photo
A Pillow Fight on Wall St??? This is the last place you would think there would be any type of fun going down after the hellish early year. But through it all there was an organized Pillow Fight right in front of the Stock Exchange and it was amazing. A hell of a lot of feathers blowing through the air and group pillow jumpings. This was really cool.

This was taken during a photo walk in Battery Park. The sun was setting and this couple were walking towards it. A little of focus but you get the picture. lol
This last photo is the day when The King Of Pop, Michael Jackson passed away. I remember getting the news through twitter and from a text from my brother in Chipotle. I was waiting for my date to see Transformers which came out that day and as I was ordering I see updates saying he died. I was shocked and had a blank face on. I looked up as the guy behind the counter asked me for my order and i told him that MJ had died. He laughed and said “Stop Playing”. I said no I’m serious and showed him my phone. He went blank and told told the whole crew who then came to the front. One girl damn there started to cry and then I said….”Thats Crazy right?? ummm. Ill have a Chicken Burrito Please.” (lol, sorry I was hungry)
Later that night I was going across 125th and seen a mass crowd in front of Apollo. I hopped out and started to take photos. People were crying, singing MJ songs and saying their last good-byes.

Well, That’s all these were the memories that really were meaningful to me. Again, I hope that you enjoyed them and hopefull next year there will be a whole lot more photos to showcase for you.
