I remember when this first came out and I had to chose to either the newly introduced iPod or a Creative mp3 which was the same price for Christmas. I went with creative. I know better now. [via]
So at first i despised the iPad because it just didn’t seem logical to not place an mac os on there. But after further consideration, playing with it at the Apple Store and videos like the one above, it seems that it may actually have a place in my heart. lol. I have a lot of magazine subscriptions ranging from GQ, Details, Complex, XXL, Time Out, Vogue and a bunch more. If they were to offer digital magazine subscriptions for iPad I will buy one (snaps finger) like that.
The video above was created by Brad Colbow who bought an iPad and some magazines to demonstrate the beautiful way it is integrated into the iPad system. With the fast declining print market, this is looking like a great idea. [via]

I am sooooo disappointed with this thing it’s making my head spin. Usually when Apple say they going to unveil a new piece of technology it’s something innovative and different. This…THIS is a big ass iPod Touch with iLife. That’s it! I think everyone was expecting the Apple iPad to have a Snow Leopard OS running on it; at least I did. Maybe I’m jumping to conclusions. I guess if I were to buy this it would be because I just lost my iPhone last Friday and I’m going thru withdrawal. It starts at $499 and you basically need an AT&T data plan for it to work outside of free WiFi hotspots. Check out the Apple iPad out for yourself over at Apple.
