A Day In Tha Life Of… Donny Goines

My friend, Donny Goines’ last performance in August at the then known Blender Theatre was a hit. So much that Live Nation asked him to give an encore performance at the Gramercy Theatre. I asked him if I could shadow him for the day to chronicle the document the his special event. With the day being filled with last minute drop-outs, cold & wet weather and tiring trekking tying up loose ends, it all seems to come together at game time and a great show was put on by Donny Goines, Emilio Rojas, Beyond Belief, Rain, J.Cole, Kwame and more. Check out the photos below and after the jump.

The day started off at Tom’s Restaurant in Brooklyn early afternoon…

With the sudden change in acts, Donny is on the Blackberry looking a last minute replacement.

After midday breakfast and a few calls we head over to RockSmith Tokyo’s office in Williamsburg

The homey’s over at RockSmith gives us a peek at their 2010 Spring/Summer line. A very good look to say the least.

After building with the team and getting a little history behind the line, they throw Donny some pieces to rock for the show.

We had time to kill so we decided to head over to my studio to get some shots in with the new clothes..
