Hennes & Mauritz, also known as, H&M celebrated the grand re-opening of their newly renovated Harlem site on Thursday evening. There was a DJ on hand, open bar Belvedere Grapefruit and 25% off all items in the store for its attendees. The Harlem store opens officially today and a big crowd is expected to come through to snag some deals. Check out the photos of the night.

Takashi Murakami and Tokyo FM asked  to design a special 40th anniversary watch. It is a cool translucent red with a T.M. flower engraved on the back and his signature on the strap. It comes in a nice box and sits on a small pillow with Takashi’s artwork on it. This is limited to only 300 pieces and is set to come out on September 11th, 2010. I wonder if this is coming stateside. [via]

My homey Jay West has created broaches for the ladies. They are called Red Bottoms and they are definitely on people’s radars already. They feature a booti and pump style with colored bottom and covered in crystals.  There are only two styles so far, the “all black pump” and the “white and black toe booti“. They are being released today exclusively on JayWestOne.com. These are a limited run so try to get on them fast.
