Hennes & Mauritz, also known as, H&M celebrated the grand re-opening of their newly renovated Harlem site on Thursday evening. There was a DJ on hand, open bar Belvedere Grapefruit and 25% off all items in the store for its attendees. The Harlem store opens officially today and a big crowd is expected to come through to snag some deals. Check out the photos of the night.

Check out these Bald Eagles spotted over near Riverside Park. They were snapped by a photog snatching up fish in the icy waters. What are they doing near these parts. This is a change from the rest of the “Birds” that walks up and down the streets. lmao [VIA]

Yesterday I decided to go to 135th street in Harlem to experience the yearly event which is Harlem Week. This is a week of black culture and a time of unity. A lot of people from the community as well as tourist stopped by to take in the good food, drinks, music, dances and performances. I brought my camera and took a few flicks of the day.

On Sunday in Harlem there was a fashion show that was held at the Harlem Summerstage at the State Building on 125th and 7th Ave. I believe it was being hosted by the National Action Network which is ran by Al Sharpton and his daughters. I went out there to see my Harlem family and see what was going down. I didnt take much exciting photos but here are some of the good ones.
