So Kanye announced today on Twitter that Jay Z and him will be dropping a 5 track album called Watch The Throne. This is one of the songs off the track… hmmmm. Just like the last track with Beyonce and em, I really dont know about this. I’m trying to “listen” to it but it doesn’t do nothing for me. On a good note, Nicki Minaj went off on this track. She had the best verse on the song. Good Job Nicole. Listen and Acquire

Nike joined forces with Jay Z to create these uber-exclusive All Black Everything Nike Air Force Ones. From the looks of it, it contains standard black leather with black safari print on the sides. The tongue tag has HOV under the Nike Swoosh and the in sole has custom graphics on it. Looks smooth. They will be auctioned off on behalf of the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation and Ebay to raise money to provide financial assistance for individuals to attend learning institutions. Only two pairs of each of the five designs will be created, one for the winning bidder and one for the man behind the design, JAY-Z. The charity auction begins on August 12, at 9:00 a.m. EDT and ends on August 22, at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

In addition to these sneakers, Jay Z will take the Radio City Music Hall stage to perform a one of a kind concert to initiate the inaugural 2010 World Basketball Festival. The performance will be streaming live on http://www.facebook.com/wbf at 6:30pm. This is going to be a good one. [via]

Jay-Z’s “Hard Knock Life” was one of my favorite songs when it came out. What was even better was the sample from which it came from. Check out this two part video from a Swedish documentary featuring the people who made this possible, including the DJ who made the track, 45 King.

So Jay Z premiered this video last night after the ball dropped. Money! From the black and white to them just bopping to the beat. I must say that I like the video.
